Susan is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Georgia State University. Her work is informed by training in both occupational therapy and industrial design and focuses on the design of supportive, technology-enabled environments to increase activity participation of individuals with disabilities in the home and community and their caregivers. She has been active in TechSAge since 2014 in the Smart Bathroom Technologies project and community outreach efforts. She is understanding how to better support occupational therapists and designers to become more effective co-design partners in the development of assistive technology solutions. Lee received her PhD in Architecture (Industrial Design Concentration) from Georgia Tech.
