Charles Kemp, Ph.D. is the PI for Project D3 (Mobile Manipulator Robot). Dr. Kemp is the Director of the Healthcare Robotics Lab and Associate Professor in the Georgia Tech/Emory Dept. of Biomedical Engineering and the Schools of Interactive Computing and Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research has focused on human-robot interaction and robot manipulation. His current work, which is the basis for D3, was recently featured in the NY Times (4/28/13).
